GAMEDAY RECAP PAGE – Midweek (Feb. 12-13, 2014)
UTSA third base veteran Jolene Graham and her the rest of the Roadrunners infield made several big plays in Wednesday's 4-2 win at 15th-ranked Texas, with the Longhorns stranding 16 runners in the upset loss (postgame links at bottom of page).
A handful of warm-weather teams (in Texas, Arizona and California) played some midweek games on Feb. 12-13, with these games including nine that involved teams receiving votes in the current national polls. Most of those games went as expected – with the exception of Texas San Antonio's 4-2 win at 15th-ranked Texas – leaving the Longhorns 4-3, with the others losses coming a few days earlier against Northern Illinois and Purdue.
The midweek games also included one noteworthy head-to-head matchup, with San Diego State opening its home tournament by topping Cal State Fullerton, 6-1.
